Well, we have been sitting for the past few hours in Boston's Logan airport. We returned the car after slip sliding around the frozen roads a bit, and now we are sitting in the Admiral's club having a quiet beer or 2 waiting for our flight to board.
Well, with all the snow and the like here, I guess it isn't too surprising.
Server resuscitation went pretty well in the end, but it was a long hard slog early on. One of the toughest technical builds I have been involved with in quite a long time. A lot of hair tearing, but we did pretty well in the end. Got most of the way there. But, as the experts always say, the first 90% of the work takes 90% of the time and budget; the remaining 10% of the work takes the other 90% of time and budget.
Planes are now all taking off, but still we wait. Ah well, should be home later on tonight.
Vesna had a lovely day, and thawed out pretty well by the time I picked her up to come to the airport. It was a shame that I didn't get to go out in Boston at all while I was here - but I am sure that I will come up here again in the near future.

We fly Adam from Sydney to New York, which was a surprise to Watson Wyatt US folks since they thought he walked on water and planes were superfluous.
Then we fly him to Boston, keeping up appearances, and what does he say - one of the most difficult builds he has ever done?
And we thought this guy had expertise.
Look out Vesna, I think there's more hot air than meets the eye :)
