Warming up

As you can see from the photos, it has warmed up a lot in New York now. The weather yeserday was very warm, and even pretty muggy as well. We ended up leaving the windows of the apartment open to get some breeze through. We are getting an airconditioner installed this week, as New York in the summer can be very, very warm - and the humidity can make it a bit unpleasant.

I know - I go straight from talking about how cold it is, to saying it will b too hot! :) I am not really complaining, it is just amazing how quickly it turned around.

The week past has been very busy. A bit of a rollercoaster at work at the moment. Some good news, some bad news, and all a bit mixed really. I have a lot on my plate at the moment which I am managing - which is definitely better than not having anything on, but it is pretty flat out at the moment.

We had Tim Ward visit from London as well. Vesna and I went to Uni with Tim and it was just awesome to catch up again. Time flies when you are chatting away, and we didn't end up getting home till 4am on Friday night. We wen to breakfast with Tim on Saturday morning as well, and then he went across to New Jersey for his cousins wedding. (That was the main reason he came to New York).

I spent the rest of Saturday catching up on some work and then we went out for a Thai dinner. I was exhausted by the end of the day and needed to go to bed. I am getting a bit old to be out partying till 4am!

Sunday is a lazy day. Blogging, posting some photos to facebook, catching up on some work and then we are meeting up with Tim again before he goes back to London.

Tonight we have tickets to the NY Rangers Ice hockey playoffs which should be amazing!
