Snow continues to fall

I am inside at the moment and I cannot see what is happening outside, but by all reports the snow continues to tumble down.

I should be finishing up at work in the next hour or so, so I cannot wait to get out and see what is happening. They have said that almost 9 inches of snow has fallen so far today. That is amazing.

Unfortunately it is going to become frozen rain later tonight - which is very, very unpleasant!!

It is supposed to snow for a lot of tomorrow as well, so I am looking forward to that.

The CNN report on the weather is on this link here:

Thank goodness I am not flying today!!!

Busy Week

It has been a busy week this week. A lot of different pieces of news and projects I have been working on. It makes for an interesting but very tiring life!

I am away for the bulk of next week and the week after, so I have been trying to get everything sorted out at work before I go away, on top of getting all the stuff ready for the business meetings next week.

Work is going well. Lots of projects on and new proposals.

Vesna has been a bit sick for the past week and a bit with a nasty cold. I have caught a bit of the cold. Not enough to put me out of action, just enough to make me feel off.

It has been a cold week, with temperatures hovering in the low single digits. It is supposed to be a cold weekend with frozen rain forecast. Maybe a good one to stay indoors with a good book or two!

I am cooking dinner tonight as Vesna is out at french classes. I am going to make cheese souffles for an entree and then some chargrilled beef with veges and gravy for mains. An update will be sent tomorrow with a report on how it goes (and maybe even a photo!). :)

Cold day in New York City

Cold day today in New York. -4 at the moment and forecast for -10 tonight. No snow, perfectly clear skies, but a very cold breeze from the north.

Check the weather in NYC.

Going out to watch the New York Giants in their playoff game against the Green Bay Packers this afternoon at a bar. Gradually getting into the football in the US. Supporting the Giants this season because they are playing exciting football. Not quite ready to commit yet...
