An evening in Boston

After a fairly uneventful flight up from New York - albeit with
gorgeous views of the city and long island - we landed in Boston. If
the piles of snow by the side of the runway were anything to go by, it
was going to be cold.

It was pretty cold, but we are pretty toughened against the elements
now, so we were fine.

Once again, driving on the right hand side of the road was a little
challenging, but after a few hiccups, we were all sorted. Boston could
definitely use a street sign or two!

We got to the hotel, and Paris' parents were feeling generous, and we
were upgraded to the executive floor of the Boston Hilton.

We headed out for some dinner, and I remembered an awesome seafood
restaurant from the last time I was here, so we went in and had a
great dinner.

Oysters from Massachusetts are a bit different to Sydney oysters. We
are both a bit spoilt with Oysters from Sydney, but these ones were
ok.

We washed down dinner with a nice bottle of californian pinot noir,
which was very nice.

After dinner we went for a wander out to the wharf and looked out over
the harbour. It was cold.... Damn cold! But kind of surreal and fun as
well.

We are now thawing out in a bar watching the Celtics beat the
Timberwolves in a thriller.

Life is good!!

More blogging tomorrow from server resucitation central.

Vesna is carving up the sights of Boston, so expect some swanky photo
blogs from her iPhone.
